Warmest congratulations to Gordon Askew - awarded an MBE for services to education in the Queen's Birthday Honours List, June 2017.

Gordon has dedicated himself to promoting evidence-informed reading instruction for many years. He has played a very significant role on behalf of the Department for Education in England in guiding policy writing, evaluation of programmes, training and teaching practices.


Gordon Askew is a founding member of the International Foundation for Effective Reading Instruction and you can read more about Gordon's work here:
