How to access the excellent 'Learning Difficulties Australia' Bulletins

Post by Debbie_Hepplewhite »

Thanks to Molly de Lemos for providing the guidance for accessing the 'Learning Difficulties Australia' organisation's excellent Bulletins.

These Bulletins are well worth reading but they haven't always been publicly available - Molly has lead the way for these Bulletins to be made freely available as they are such a rich source of research-informed material.

Although the LDA is an organisation in Australia, nevertheless much of what is written is entirely relevant to any country where the English language is taught. Also, LDA has always welcomed articles from people around the world and not just Australia.

The LDA Bulletin came out in December. You can access it directly from https://www.ldaustralia.org/client/docu ... 202015.pdf,

or via the home page (under Current Issues – scroll down to the bottom, or go to the link to the Bulletin at the bottom of the home page).

You can also now subscribe to the LDA e-News from the link at bottom of the home page. This also takes you to past issues of the e–News that you can download (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

The latest LDA e–News can be accessed from http://us9.campaign-archive1.com/?u=6c6 ... eefad991e0

Dr Lorraine Hammond wrote this about Molly in the Summer 2015 LDA Bulletin:
For the three members of LDA Council who retired this year: Dr Molly de Lemos, Diane Barwood and Dr Roslyn Neilson, developing teacher knowledge is both
a calling and a talent.

Bringing a strong background in research and dedication to evidence-based practice, Molly served on Executive Council from 2004. Molly attracted speakers of the highest quality to LDA events and worked tirelessly in a number of different roles spanning professional learning, writing for the Bulletin and administration.
